Ahmed hoped to become a professional golfer one day. His current handicap was three, superior to his brother Abdulla whose handicap was six. Their father was their first coach.
In addition to brothers Jehangir of Pakistan, another brother pair come from UAE (United Arab Emirates), 19-year-old Abdulla Al Musharrekkh and 17-year-old Ahmed Al Musharrekkh, who both were born in Dubai, a city where has been emerged rapidly in the Middle East.
Ahmed hoped to become a professional golfer one day. His current handicap was three, superior to his brother Abdulla whose handicap was six. Their father was their first coach.
Aiming at a professional golfer, Ahmed has arranged a two-year training course in the United States. After the tournament, he will soon start the training programs at the Golf Academy school in Florida, USA, heading for a professional career. The two brothers have a younger brother at the age of 14, who is a junior golfer too.
Abdulla had a different plan for his life. He, in his third year university student, has no intention to become a professional golfer. He rather preferred as an excellent amateur golf player. Abdulla majored in finance.
Abdulla said there are ten golf courses in Dubai, including one in sand. There are nearly 100 youth golfers in the UAE, half originating from Dubai. Abdulla, however, noted that golf game in his country has been slowly developed because most people could not afford to pay. Soccer is the favorite sports in the UAE.
