 我國積極爭取主辦權，野村盃十月二日揚昇開戰！
兩年一度的Asia-Pacific Team Championships–Nomura Cup（野村盃亞太隊際錦標賽），今年我國終於爭取到作東道主，比賽將從十月二日至五日一連四天在桃園楊梅的揚昇高爾夫鄉村俱樂部開打，預定有澳洲、韓國、日本、紐西蘭、巴基斯坦、菲律賓、印度、印尼、泰國、馬來西亞、新加坡、香港、關島、伊朗、阿拉伯聯合大公國、蒙古、斐濟以及台灣等十八個國家，共七十一位選手前來競逐這座象徵亞太地區最高榮譽的隊際冠軍，創下歷屆參賽國最多紀錄。 詳全文 |

亞太盃緣起
亞太高爾夫協會為了推動亞太地區高爾夫運動，並增進所有會員國之友誼，在1963年創辦了亞太盃高爾夫隊際錦標賽，第一屆在菲律賓舉行草創之期經費拮据，當時日本高協副理事長野村先生慷慨解囊，捐贈永久盃給大會，大會為表示對野村先生敬意，因此也稱為野村盃。
本賽事每兩年舉辦一次，今年度來台參賽的國家多達19國，為歷年之最。目前日本隊居冠，已先後贏得八屆冠軍；澳洲隊次之，共贏得七屆冠軍；中華台北名列第三，共獲得五屆冠軍。衛冕的澳洲隊自1999年起已蟬聯四屆冠軍。 詳全文 |

The 23rd Asia-Pacific Teams Championship, known as the Nomura Cup after Shun Nomura, the former Vice-President of the Japan Golf Association who donated the Cup, will be played at Sunrise Golf and Country Club, Taiwan, from the 2nd- 5th October 2007. 詳全文 |

2005 Nomura Cup… Where are they now?
The 2005 Nomura Cup, played at Japan’s Narita Golf Club, produced some outstanding results and showcased some of the best amateurs in the world.
Australia won the championship with a record equaling 50 under par from New Zealand (33 under) and Korea (28 under) with a record 16 countries competing. On the individual side, Australian Won Joon Lee fired 19 under to take individual honours from Korean Dong Hwan Lee on 15 under with Australian team-mate Andrew Dodt on 13 under followed by Kiwi Mark Purser on 12 under. The best round of the championship was an 8 under 64 by the then 14 year old Cheng-Tsung Pan from Chinese Taipei. 詳全文 |

The Nomura Cup
The inaugural Asia-Pacific Amateur Golf Team Championship was held in the Philippines in 1963. The event’s purpose was to develop the sport of golf in the Asia-Pacific region as well as to enhance mutual friendship among APGC member associations. Due to a limited budget at the initial stage, we were very much indebted to Mr. Shun Nomura, the then Vice President of Japan Golf Association for his generous trophy contribution to the Championship. In honor of Mr. Nomura, the event has been named the Nomura Cup from then on. 詳全文 |
