Welcome Message from Mr. Tien-Ya Hsu
President of Sunrise Golf & Country Club and Director of the Executive Committee
The 23rd Asia-Pacific Amateur Golf Team Championship - The Nomura Cup will be held at the Sunrise Golf & Country Club in Taiwan. Our club has hosted numerous high quality and extensive nationwide and international golf tournaments over the past years. It is an honor to be selected as the championship course for this year’s Nomura Cup. As the host club, we have devoted a lot of effort and costs on course maintenance and improvement prior to the event. We are proud to have the most challenging and fastest greens among Taiwan golf courses. In addition, some changes have been made on our fairway landscaping. We believe the players will experience more challenges on the greens due to these changes.
As the director of the executive committee, it is my sincere expectation that every player can play up to his best ability. I sincerely welcome all team players, officials, and the honorary guests for your presence and participation in this prestigious event. I wish the Nomura Cup 2007 a wonderful success.
大會執行長 許典雅先生致詞
第二十三屆亞太盃高爾夫錦標賽，將於台灣揚昇高爾夫鄉村俱樂部舉辦，揚昇高爾夫鄉村俱樂部多年來承辦無數場國內、外高水準的大型國際比賽，在此，非常高興受到主辦單位的青睞及肯定，承蒙選擇本俱樂部為亞太盃比賽場地，本俱樂部所有同仁更是感到萬分榮幸。趁著比賽前夕，我們著力加強了球場上的維護及保養，除了擁有台灣最快速、詭譎且多變的快速果嶺外，在球道方面也有小幅度變化，這些改變將會使得果嶺難度增加，考驗著選手們的技術與實力。
最後，本人以大會執行長的身分，期盼各位選手在本賽事能有驚人的水準表現，也歡迎各國選手及貴賓蒞臨參與此次盛會，更祝『2007亞太盃高爾夫錦標賽』圓滿成功！ |
